Every child is different. Some days they’re tired. Some days they’re full of energy. The benefit of an after school nanny is that they can adapt to your child’s needs, whether that’s running off energy before bed in the park, or snuggling up and reading on the sofa.
Go online and browse nannies in your area who meet your family’s needs, from here you can message and arrange interviews and trials, and we take care of the rest.
Our simple hourly rates are different to other sites. They include the employer costs you might not expect like holiday pay, taxes and pension. They also include your fee to us – this means we don’t have to charge a chunky upfront amount. We provide your nanny with a free Enhanced DBS check, online first aid training and include our employer support (worth £350 a year).
There is a £129 set-up fee the first time you hire a nanny with us.
Our nanny’s rates are based on their experience which we verify with references. Nannies with 3+ years of experience can set their own rates.

It varies. Some nannies will drive and have their own car. Some will have a driving licence so can be insured on your family car.
All of our nannies speak fluent English. For most, it’s their first language, but many speak other languages as well. Our nannies come from a range of backgrounds, so just let us know on the registration form if you have any language requirements and we’ll do our best to send you nannies who speak that language. If it’s a bonus rather than a deal breaker, the number of potential nannies we can show you really increases.
You may be able to pay using childcare vouchers or tax-free childcare, provided your nanny is Ofsted registered. Some nannies will have an existing registration and others will need to register. We can provide you with all the information to do this. It usually costs about £500 as your nanny will need to attend certain training on-top of the registration fee.
Many nannies will have Enhanced DBS checks and First Aid certificates that are still valid. If they have expired we’ll run a new DBS and book them onto an in-person First Aid course before they start.
