Nannies’ rates start at £15.50 per hour.
This includes taxes, nanny public liability insurance, pension contributions and our service fee.
There is a £139 set-up fee the first time you employ a nanny. This covers an enhanced DBS check, registration with HMRC and the pensions regulator if needed.

Nannies with experience babysitting, volunteering or nannying in short-term roles.
From £16.00 - £18.75/hour
Nannies who are parents or have 1 year of childcare experience, eg. in a school or nursery.
From £18.25/hour
Nannies with 2+ years of formal experience, eg. as a nanny or in a school or nursery.
From £20/hour
Nannies with 3+ years experience in professional nanny roles.

For the after school service most nannies live locally and most want to travel less than 20 mins to work. For professional nannies they might live further away but may have worked in your local area before.
Childminders look after children from multiple families in their own home. Nannies look after your children in your home (and a maximum of one other family in a nanny share).
Our nanny rates are set based on the nannies level of experience. Top Tier nannies can set their own rates.
Our after school nannies cost from £15.75 per hour, while our Top Tier nannies cost from £19 per hour.
The rates you see on a nanny’s profile includes the Koru Kids fee.
The rates you see on the nanny profiles is the ‘total cost’ per hour.
This includes the nanny’s ‘net’ rate (what they get in their bank each month), plus their income tax and employee National Insurance. As well as what you need to pay for their pension, employer National Insurance and our admin fees.
Professional nannies set their own ‘gross’ hourly rates when they sign up to Koru Kids to account for their net pay and their tax contributions.
After school nannies rates are set based on the nannies level of experience.
Some will yes. It’s best to check with individual nannies but we can support you to employ someone short-term.
Many nannies babysit for their families. However, right now we don’t have a babysitting only service for families who don’t employ nannies.
