Work differently

A side hustle that suits your schedule

This term, don’t settle for annoying hours, customer hassle, and bad pay.

As a part-time nanny, you’ll spend a few afternoons a week working for a local family helping with school pickup, playing games, building dens, and having fun with the kids.

You don’t  need any childcare qualifications, just experience working with kids like babysitting or at a camp. We’ll give you free training and continued guidance so you can be great at your job while building valuable skills.

Koru Kids supports you every step from your application to when you’re on the job.

@korukidsjobs Every day is different when you’re a nanny but wholesome vibes are guaranteed 🧸 Thanks Bianca for sharing! #nannylife #studentlife #parttimejob #sidehustle #GrandesDeclaracoesRenner ♬ All I Want Is You - Disco Lines

You might be wondering

As a nanny, you’ll work at the family’s house. Most nannies work for families who live less than 30 minutes away from them. You can’t look after their children in your own house because you won’t be covered by Koru Kids’ insurance.
We ask our nannies to be able to commit to at least 3 months so give them time to get to know the family. But don’t worry – most families don’t expect you to work in your uni holidays. If you have any other commitments coming up, be open about them with the families you’re chatting to.
If you are speedy returning your documents, it can take just a few days to get to the stage where we can look for families for you.

Most families are looking for someone to work at least 3 afternoons a week during term time (usually 3pm – 6pm). Most of our nannies work part-time between 9-15 hours per week.

Usually, you’ll pick up the kids from school, help them with their homework, prepare a simple meal and keep them entertained with games or arts and crafts until their parents get home.

Yes – we pay a £50 bonus to you (the referrer) and any friends you refer (the referred) during the first month they work with a family. This referral scheme is active all year round, and there’s no limit to who you can refer. Once you’re live on our platform, if you want to refer a friend, copy your unique code from your dashboard and share away.
