My daughter’s been begging for a phone since the age of 6.
Last month, I got a surprising email from her school.
For years, I’ve tried to delay smartphone use in our house as long as possible. We’ve had LOT of conversations about attention, addiction, friendship, growing up and standing out.
Last month I was overjoyed to get an email from my daughter’s school saying they’re banning smartphones entirely.
No smartphones allowed through the gates of the school AT ALL.
Five years ago, that would’ve felt extreme.
But the national conversation is shifting really fast!
And this means delaying a smartphone for your child for even just a year or two could make a HUGE difference to their life.
But how do you do this without constant battles or begging?
I got you. See the carousel.
I’d love to know – what’s happening on this in your world?
