Find a Family

We'll match you with a great local family. You'll get to meet them first to make sure it's the right role for you

You might be wondering…

Where will I be working? –

We'll look for local families who live less than 30 minutes from your home. We'll send you details of the families before we introduce you to make sure the logistics work for you.

How long does it take to start working? –

If you are super speedy completing all the stages of the application, it can take just a week to get to the stage where we can look for families for you. Find out more here.

Is there an age limit? –

Not at all! We're always on the lookout for older adults who love kids and are looking for part-time work. We find that older workers are very popular with families as they often make extremely reliable, dedicated and caring nannies.

How long is the job for? –

You'll be matched with a family looking for a regular part-time nanny. So we ask our nannies to be able to commit to at least the end of the school year (term time only).

How many hours will I be working? –

Most families are looking for someone to work at least 3 afternoons a week during term time (usually 3pm - 6pm). Most of our nannies work part-time between 9-15 hours per week. You’ll get £9 to £9.77 per hour, depending on your age. This includes your holiday pay and you can find out more about this here.

What will I be expected to do? –

Usually, you'll pick up the kids from school, help them with their homework, prepare a simple meal and keep them entertained with games or arts and crafts until their parents get home.
