We’re not a traditional agency. Our simple and hassle free platform is built for busy parents.
We don’t charge a huge upfront free. Our fee is included in the nanny’s hourly rate, so if they don’t work, we don’t earn.
Our service is fully comprehensive so we’ll take care of everything you need to legally employ your nanny without patchworking different agencies.
Nannies’ rates start at £16.50 per hour.
This includes taxes, nanny public liability insurance, employer national insurance and pension contributions and our service fee.
There is a £199 set-up fee the first time you employ a nanny. This covers an enhanced DBS check, registration with HMRC and the pensions regulator if needed.
We ask for four weeks’ pay upfront when you hire a nanny (which you’ll get back when your contract ends.)

Nannies with experience babysitting, volunteering or nannying in short-term roles.
From £17.50 - £19.95/hour
Nannies who are parents or have 1 year of childcare experience, eg. in a school or nursery.
From £19.75/hour
Nannies with 2+ years of formal experience, eg. as a nanny or in a school or nursery.
From £20.75/hour
Nannies with 3+ years experience in professional nanny roles.
Nannies’ rates start at £16.50/hour. That’s an all-in price covering their pay, employer’s National Insurance, pension contributions, public liability insurance, and our service fee. There’s a one-off £199 set-up fee when you first hire a nanny, which covers an enhanced DBS check and HMRC registration. We also ask for four weeks’ pay upfront as a deposit, which you get back when the match ends.
Every nanny goes through ID and right-to-work checks and a screening process before their profile goes live.
When you hire a nanny, we carry out an enhanced DBS check and they complete our bespoke online training and a Paediatric First Aid course – all at no extra cost to you.
Nannies working in Scotland join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme instead of getting a DBS check. It’s Scotland’s equivalent, run by Disclosure Scotland, and we arrange and pay for it in the same way. If your nanny is already a PVG member, we’ll run an update check rather than a new registration.
PVG checks take a little longer than a DBS, usually two to three weeks.
Our training has been developed by our in-house team, which includes a former teacher and former nanny.
Some can, but the lots can’t. If your nanny can drive it will be marked on their profile.
All of our nannies speak fluent English. For most, it’s their first language, but many speak other languages as well. Our nannies come from a range of backgrounds, so just let us know on the registration form if you have any language requirements and we’ll do our best to send you nannies who speak that language. If it’s a bonus rather than a deal breaker, the number of potential nannies we can show you really increases.
We have a range of nannies if all experiences. Many of our nannies looking for after school shifts only have experience with older children but many others are willing to work longer hours and have experience with babies and younger children.
Top Tier nannies have been carefully vetted for their experience, so many will have specialist baby & toddler experience.

Koru Kids nannies are not Ofsted registered. This means that you probably won’t be able to use government funding like Childcare Vouchers and Tax-Free Childcare.
Nannies may be willing to register with Ofsted independently, but the cost, time, and training required often makes it impractical. You can find out more in our Help Centre.
Nannies will look after your children in your home vs. a childminder who works in their home.
Nannies typically work for one family or two if it’s a nanny share. A childminder will look after children from multiple families.
