We advertise in university, nanny and local communities so that we attract a range of candidates such as students, retirees and creatives.
We have a selection team who review applications. We expect all candidates to have a passion for childcare and have a good level of written communication.
We ask for two references that must cover at least 3 months experience. If a nanny is on a higher pay tier we ask for extra references to cover that additional experience.
We check applicant's ID to make sure they have the right to work in the UK.
We ask nannies to tell us why they want to work with children and what their motivations are. We look for passion, clear articulation and an understanding of the responsibilities that come with the role.
The minimum childcare experience a nanny can have is 3 months. We make sure references cover this period. Nannies who have 1+ experience quality for a higher pay tier.
Enhanced DBS checks can take 2 weeks to process and are covered by your set-up fee. We start the process when you offer a nanny a role.
