Our nannies hourly rates include the full cost of their employment and our service fee.
The rate you’ll see on a nanny’s profile includes their gross pay, holiday pay (12.5%), employers NI, pension contributions and public liability insurance.
It also includes our service fee to help you find your nanny and ongoing employer support. We provide your contract, payroll and payments to HMRC and pension. Your nanny will receive ongoing training and we have coaches on hand to provide 1:1 guidance.
There is a £139 set-up fee the first time you hire a nanny with us. This covers the Enhanced DBS check, first aid training and your employer registration with HMRC and the pensions regulator.
Nannies with ad-hoc experience babysitting, volunteering or nannying in short-term roles.
These nannies have their own kids or a minimum of 1 year of formal childcare experience.
These nannies have 2+ years of formal experience.
Professional nannies with a minimum of 3+ years (most have more) experience in a nursery or as a nanny.
After school nannies take care of your children in your home. They’ll pick them up, make them dinner and help with homework. Then keep them entertained with activities they love.
That means no rushing back from a long day and trying to fit everything in before bed.
Our nannies can typically work longer hours and many families like to do a mix of both after school club or nanny days (or as they call them ‘easy’ days).
We’re not a traditional agency. Our simple and hassle free platform is built for busy parents.
We don’t charge a huge upfront free. Our fee is included in the nanny’s hourly rate — so if they don’t work, we don’t earn. There is a one-off £139 set-up fee the first time your hire a nanny with us.
Our service is fully comprehensive so we’ll take care of everything you need to legally employ your nanny without patchworking different agencies.
Our nannies cost from £16.50 per hour in London and the home counties or £15.50 per hour in the rest of the UK, per family, depending on your nanny’s childcare experience and the number of hours of care you need. Our service fee is included in your hourly rate.
You’ll pay a one-off £139 set up fee when you start working with your first nanny.
Some can, but the lots can’t. If your nanny can drive it will be marked on their profile.
All of our nannies speak fluent English. For most, it’s their first language, but many speak other languages as well. Our nannies come from a range of backgrounds, so just let us know on the registration form if you have any language requirements and we’ll do our best to send you nannies who speak that language. If it’s a bonus rather than a deal breaker, the number of potential nannies we can show you really increases.
We have a range of nannies if all experiences. Many of our nannies looking for after school shifts only have experience with older children but many others are willing to work longer hours and have experience with babies and younger children.
Top Tier nannies have been carefully vetted for their experience, so many will have specialist baby & toddler experience.
Look out for a run down of their experience on each profile.
Yes! We are currently expanding to other parts of the UK. When you register with us we’ll instantly tell you if we have nannies available in your area.
You may be able to pay using childcare vouchers or tax-free childcare, provided your nanny is Ofsted registered. Please note, the vast majority of nannies will not be registered with Ofsted due to the part-time nature of the role. The cost and time to register usually outweighs the savings parents could make by using childcare vouchers or tax-free childcare.
Nannies will look after your children in your home vs. a childminder who works in their home.
Nannies typically work for one family or two if it’s a nanny share. A childminder will look after children from multiple families.
