Ready to shake up the broken childcare system?

Parents have never needed world class childcare more than they do now. The lack of childcare infrastructure in the UK is increasing gender inequality and letting a generation of families down.

Koru Kids is on a mission to change this. To do that we need to find wonderful people to help families by becoming part-time nannies. This is why we need you!

An after school nanny isn't a job that exists in many people's minds but it's one, once discovered that's fulfilling and most importantly fun!

We need someone to join the team as a Marketing Executive and help us attract the very best people to work with children. Working across the full marketing mix and with a team of experienced and talented marketeers you'll make an impact everyday.


And now about you:

  • You are hungry to learn and willing to turn your hand to anything if it means learning a new skill or developing an area of expertise. Whether it's performance marketing, organic social, door drops or big media campaigns you're ready to get stuck in

  • You've been working in a talented marketing team for a few years so you're a safe pair of hands. Left with a clear goal and guidance, you can take responsibilities for projects and deliver

  • You're not scared of fast. In fact it's your favourite speed. We're a high growth startup so you need to be someone who thrives in that environment

  • You're a dab hand at data. You can manipulate a spread sheet, set up a tracker and use data to test and learn what's working and what's not

  • You're full of ideas and you'll be working in a team where you'll be listened to and have a chance to influence marketing strategy and planning

  • You're a strong copy writer and can draft press releases, write Facebook copy and craft beautiful emails with ease


You should also be:

Ideally we'd like...

  • 2-3 years of excellence in marketing roles

  • Experience working for a top scale-up brand

  • An interest in design or a creative background is a bonus


Important things to know...

Timing: We'd like to have the right person join as soon as possible.

Flexibility: The role can be done flexibly. It can also be part-time if you like, although in that case you are likely to need to have highly relevant experience as you'll have less time to learn things from scratch. We welcome parents and would love to discuss any other working arrangements that make it possible for you to be part of our team.

Salary: The salary for this role is £28,000. We also have some awesome benefits - among these is the ability to have a Koru Kids nanny for half price if you are a parent!

Location: You can do this role from anywhere in the UK and earn the same salary as you would if you were in London (where we are based). We welcome applications from people living outside London. Outside the UK is more complicated as it has tax and other implications, so we are unlikely to hire someone living outside the UK.

We have always promoted flexible working and are currently working remotely but we will have the option of an office space to work from next year.
