Childcare is a leading cause of gender inequality. It is a systemic issue that impacts thousands of families in the UK.
Most of the burden, most of the time, for most families, is carried by women.
The ‘mum tax’ has been exacerbated by the pandemic.
Enough is enough.
We need better childcare infrastructure, more support from the government and an acknowledgment that childcare is #notjustforwomen.
